Invitations to festivals in France, Korea and Argentina

Yejin has been recently invtited to three inter­na­tional fes­tials. In March she will play at Tongyeong Inter­na­tional Musik Fes­ti­val in Korea. There Yejin will per­form the Etudes of Unsuk Chin which she has played in toto as first pianiste last year at Grand Théa­tre de Genève.

In June Yejin has the honor to play the open­ing con­cert of Acan­thes Fes­ti­val in Metz (France) with a per­for­mance of pieces from Philippe Hurel, Claude Debussy, Pierre Boulez and Olivier Messiaen.

An invi­ta­tion at Fes­ti­val Encuen­tros will bring Yejin to Buenos Aires in Sep­tem­ber. The con­cert pro­gram wil con­sist of Dus­pin, Mes­si­aen, Boulez, Chin and Liszt. A lit­tle suite of fur­ther con­certs in South Amer­ica is cur­rently under preparation.

Concerts with “Les Percussions de Strasbourg” in January

In Jan­u­ary Yejin will con­tribute to con­certs in Orleans and Paris. Both con­certs will con­tain solo pieces by Debussy as well as Philippe Hurel’s “Inter­stices” for piano and percussion-trio. Yejin has the honor to per­form together with the ous­tand­ing artist of “Les Per­cuss­sions de Stras­bourg” with whom Yejin has gained the prize for “best per­for­mance” at Orlean Con­cours Inter­na­tional in Feb. 2010. The con­certs will take place in The­atre de Orléans (12.1.2011, 20.30h) & The­atre de Bouffes du Nord (24.1.2011, 20.30h).

Two concerts in France in November

Yejin just returned form France where she played two solo recitals in Metz (14.11.10, 17h — Fes­ti­val Jeunes Tal­ents,) and Paris (16.11.10, 12.30h — Salle Cor­tot). The recital pro­gram was as follows:
